Rotarians visit SKMCH

Lahore --Rotarians from Lahore visited Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMCH) on Wednesday.
According to a press release here on Wednesday, Naila Khan, Manager Marketing, conducted a tour of the hospital where she informed Rotary Club members about the history of the hospital and how the dream of a free cancer hospital for the poor patients became a reality. The Rotarians were happy to see the state of the art equipment at the hospital. He announced that he would formally adopt the hospital during his tenure and invited Rotarians to carry out service projects in the hospital. He informed that 40 hospitals of this magnitude are required to treat all cancer patients in the country while there is only one complete Cancer Hospital (SKMCH&RC) is available here for them. He offered his full support to Rotarians for carrying out joint humanitarian projects in the hospital. The participants showed their keen interest by asking pertinent questions.
