Artificial limbs for the needy

HOPE Rehabilitation Society has distributed artificial limbs among needy amputees under the project ‘Limbs for All’ here on Wednesday at Hope Rehabilitation Center. According to a press statement Justice (R) Amer Raza Khan,Nazim Wagha Town Khalid Ghurki and Rotary Club’s District Governor North Shehzad Ahmed distributed the limbs.Hope Society President Dr Khalid Niazi during his address said ‘Limbs for All’ project was inaugurated in the holy month of Ramadan and some 50 amputees have been registered under this project. He said on providing the artificial limbs to 20 disabled persons Society has spent Rs 500,000 and this project would continue on permanent basis with the cooperation of philanthropists. Rotary Club announced Rs 2,50,000 donation for the project.
